‘Travel Library’ is a documentation of books read from 2024 to present, at 1:10 scale.
Housed in a small painted trunk, the project began as a more tangible alternative to a traditional reading log, with the eventual goal of upgrading it’s housing to it’s own ‘book-nook’ style replica library.
Shown here on display at the UWTSD Summer Degree Show, alongside several other hand-painted boxes.
The books are painted inside and out, in a combination of emulsion and matt acrylic paints. Each has several functional pages, and some have replicated illustrations as well.
